Welcome to Our Faith and Community
St. Matthias Anglican Church is a welcoming, family-oriented Parish and a member of the Anglican Church of Canada.
Our members, from many different backgrounds, are keenly aware of the importance of faith and community.
We are knit together by a faith that seeks to be obedient to God and renewed by the Holy Spirit, a faith that recognizes the strength of growing together in our understanding and experience. We also believe in working together as a community against brokenness and hurt to help others; we act on that belief by assisting with the Rainbow Kitchen in Victoria, by leading a community recycling program and by ensuring that our church hall is used by about 30 different community service groups.
Our Parish is an active part of an organization that equips people for ministry and reaches out to those in need around the world. Come and visit us. Attend a service on Sunday, or drop in for a cup of coffee and a chat. The Reverend Dr. Robert Arril, Rector (
